Anna is incredible, she works every muscle cleverly - without me really knowing it I have maximised every exercise. I have really seen the difference and I am much stronger and more toned than working out with weights at the gym or doing classes. She also incorporates yoga to warm up and stretch out afterwards if you enjoy that (my favourite!). I love most the variability, each session is always different and matched to me plus I always feel in a much better place mentally after each session. Anna is a genius and I recommend 200% to everyone.

Anna Roberts is an amazing personal trainer who always goes the extra mile for her clients! I love going to her classes as she knows how to push me to get the very best from my workout in a safe and supported way. I know I’ve gotten fitter and stronger from working with her so far. She won’t let you slack and is extremely kind and motivating at the same time. I love working with her remotely as I can keep fit wherever I am! Highly recommend

I have been doing weekly pilates sessions with Anna for over a year now and they are fantastic !! Anna adapts the content to individual needs & objectives and changes the sessions on a weekly basis so there is variety and challenge every time we meet. I have gained and enormous amount of core strength through the work we are doing together which has practically eliminated my back problems. Building up strength in my knees & thighs means that I am now running again after a 7yr break and I am thrilled. Anna is kind and gentle and every class starts & ends with a mindful moment and I find this really helps me relax and focus during our work together. Anna is extremely well trained and has extensive knowledge in all areas of physical fitness as well as nutrition and mental preparation so the programmes she offers are very complete and totally personalised. I cannot recommend her highly enough !!

Anna is such a phenomenal PT. She creates an environment where no matter your fitness level you will feel supported and encouraged. I saw huge improvement in my strength and mobility as well as less pain in my knee from improved form. Her workouts are always challenging, but the creative variation keeps you engaged as does her energy and encouragement. She does amazing things with little equipment as well, I never thought a park workout could be that challenging, but she proved me wrong! Another aspect that was huge for me was her passion for helping you get the most out of each exercise and workout and enthusiasm for helping you reach your goals.

Anna is an excellent PT. We meet up in the park with nothing but some cones and a CMT and she still makes every session varied and challenging. Anna is approachable, professional and would put any client at ease. I couldn't recommend her more.

Anna is the most wonderful PT. She is friendly, thoughtful, knowledgeable and very skillful. Her classes are always challenging but set at the right level to help you develop without being overwhelming. I can't recommend her enough. I have brought friends to classes of varying fitness levels and they have also been really impressed.

Well hello there. I’m Anna, founder of Fitness Grains. I know how inaccessible, unobtainable and daunting a lot of fitness and wellbeing offerings are. I’m on a mission to change that by going against the grain.

Fitness is a huge part of my life as it’s both a hobby and my job, but it isn’t my whole life (not anymore anyway but that’s a different story). I’m no longer consumed by exercise and what I ‘should’ be doing. I now do it purely for my own enjoyment and it’s so freeing.

I’m so passionate about finding fitness that works for you, so that you enjoy exercise without comparing yourself and your journey to anyone else’s. Life can be stressful and fitness should be the fun bit!

Why fitness grains was created

Having been a personal trainer for 7 years, I’ve seen a lot in my industry! After teaching a variety of classes at a top studio in London, I realised that I wasn’t fulfilled teaching classes for a studio focused heavily on aesthetics.

I look like your standard PT but I have very different beliefs to what is considered normal in the fitness industry. I’ve had my own battles over the years. I believe that when you truly find what makes fitness fun for you, that’s what makes the biggest difference to your life. No image can ever replace a feeling.

Fitness Grains was created to go against the grain. To leave the unrealistic aesthetic ideals and ‘go hard or go home’ mentality behind. To inspire you to move in a way that you enjoy and want to come back to time and time again.
